The STIFF 2021 theme was "Body", exploring the body as a site of expression and conflict. Films examined identity, autonomy, and societal issues like gender and body image, highlighting personal and universal experiences.
In this design, I explore the body through an assumption. The arrangement of the chairs reveals past interactions among individuals who once occupied those spots. These chairs were found in various outdoor locations, not staged, and photographed with a 35mm camera. By emphasizing the color of each chair, I aim to capture the essence and aura of the people who once sat there.
