Project Overview
For five years, a camera follows the everyday life of Ana Vukmir, a retired woman living on her property in Pula — her conversations, the work involved in maintaining the estate, caring for animals, and the repetition of small daily rituals. After the death of her husband, Ana begins filming with her own mobile phone, turning the act of documentation into a mutual process: who shapes the story, Ana or the artist filming her?
The exhibition translates this filmed material into a physical space — artificial grass, textiles hanging from the ceiling like a patchwork photo album, and bricks onto which photographs taken by Ana on her phone have been transferred. A work that explores home as something continuously recreated through relationships, routines, and memories.
